Most People Don’t Follow Up… and Why You Should

Is following up that difficult? It takes 3 seconds to type out the nine keystrokes in “thank you”.

Two years ago I conducted a training seminar in Doha. It was truthfully one of the most remarkable moments of my life as I met students from all over the world. The simple yet crucial task of “follow up” is often promised, but rarely delivered.

This video was recorded when I was in the Middle East to share the “why you should” component. Can you guess how many people followed up with me?

A response of “ok” or even “thx” is better than ignoring an e-mail.

A response doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to happen.
