YOU'RE DOING GREAT!
Sometimes the most powerful words are the simplest ones.
In this message, Bart Berkey reminds us that people do not just need encouragement in big, dramatic moments. They need it in everyday life. At work. At home. On a team. Around the dinner table. Through a quick text. In the moments when they are trying, growing, serving, leading, parenting, and showing up.
The phrase “You’re doing great” may sound simple, but when it is said with sincerity, it can give someone the confidence to keep going.
Bart challenges the audience to use those three words intentionally. Say them to your team. Say them to your family. Say them to your kids. Say them to the people who may not even realize that their effort has been noticed.
But he also reminds us not to leave the compliment hanging.
Tell them why.
Say, “I saw you do this.”
Say, “I’m proud of you.”
Say, “You are doing great.”
Because encouragement becomes even more meaningful when it is specific.
