You’re doing great…

On our drive to Pittsburgh, I scanned the satellite radio channels and came across a hilarious comedian named Tom Papa. He was sharing clips from his special that aired about 3 years ago called “You’re Doing Great”.

His storytelling involved one simple message despite everything that is going on in your life… YOU’RE DOING GREAT.

Not that I needed to hear this, but I now understand just HOW IMPORTANT it is to share POSITIVE MESSAGES. For a moment, I felt like he was talking directly to me and I did FEEL GREAT.

Now I know the feeling when I’m fortunate to hear the same from my audience and participants. I will continue to DO MY BEST to make people feel this way.

YOU’RE DOING GREAT.

The operative word in my opinion is DOING.

As long as you are:

DOING YOUR BEST, YOU’RE DOING GREAT.

We met a mother and son who travelled to Pittsburgh from Houston just to see the Steelers football game. They were both lifelong fans but had never even been to the area. The mom told me separately that they were working on their relationship since her husband/his father had passed. The son had become very critical and hard on the mother. This was their attempt to DO THEIR BEST, which enabled them to say (despite only 3 years since losing this loved one), WE’RE DOING GREAT.

Many of the presentations that I am booked for in January and February, involved the topic of DOING YOUR BEST to get the MOST IMPORTANT THINGS DONE.
